We’ve seen the ads that try to scare us into getting insurance, or any sort of “protection” against any sort of “accidents” by telling us that these things will happen when we least expect it. Or, in a more modern scare tactic, when we want or need it the least – like we would ever want anything bad to happen at any time, much less actually need it.
But it is true that life often throws you a curve ball, and at those times you need to be prepared, or you’ll regret not having any fail safe in place. Of course we’re not saying that you should take on that incredibly high interest loan because you’ve suffered an accident, it’s a different kind of fail safe: one that doesn’t involve you being in debt for a long time.
Having a good personal insurance is a very intelligent step. Some insurance companies will try to convince you to be insured against anything and everything, but you can take on a personalized insurance that’s trimmed and tailored to your needs, and that will reflect on the monthly payments. If all else fails, and you need to take legal action to be compensated, consider a no win no fee kind of representation.
